Leon Schagrin
Leon Schagrin was born in 1926 in Grybów, Poland. His life was forever changed in 1941 when he was captured by the Nazis and sent through a series of concentration camps and ghettos. In 1942, his parents, four sisters, and brother were killed at the Belzec extermination camp. Leon narrowly escaped being sent to Belzec himself, but he was left to bear the unimaginable loss of his entire family.
Despite enduring the horrors of multiple camps, including Auschwitz, Leon survived. After the war, he faced an uphill battle for recognition and justice, [...+]
